Several 9to5Mac readers beheld the rsther than rare materialisation this last week — their freshly-ordered Verizon iPad 2 units shipped all the approach from China usually fine, only to rebound behind to sender right prior to smoothness time. Now, Reuters has the central word: Apple’s recalling an “extremely tiny number” of Verizon iPad 2s which were flashed with the transcribe MEID code. Should they have been delivered, users would substantially have found themselves incompetent to bond to 3G, or booted off prior to long, as Verizon reportedly can usually have the single device with which singular identifier upon the network during once. We’re not certain either to applaud, though it’s great to see manufacturers receiving shortcoming for their hardware before it hits shelves.
